Representative of the U.S. Congress visits the Maricao plant in Puerto Rico

April 3, 2017

The Fresenius Kabi production site in Maricao was recently visited by the U.S. Congress Representative Jenniffer González-Colón. The visit was part of the Representative’s intention to foster relations with international companies that contribute to the island’s economic growth. Informing politicians about local operations on-site more closely is also a great opportunity for Fresenius Kabi to demonstrate the company’s important position within the region.

The Maricao production site employs more than 500 people, and manufactures blood collection systems and products for the automated recollection, treatment and separation of blood components.

Jenniffer González-Colón was elected at the end of last year as Puerto Rico's sole Representative to the U.S. Congress and became the first woman ever to hold the office.
