Fresenius Kabi welcomes Portuguese Minister of Health

Fresenius Kabi Portugal received a high ranking guest: The Minister of Health of Portugal, Prof. Dr. Adalberto Campos Fernandes, visited the production site in Santiago de Besteiros, Tondela − one of the largest industrial drug production complexes of its kind in Portugal. Various pharmaceuticals are manufactured at the plant, such as antibiotics and infusion solutions.
Fresenius Kabi is currently expanding the site by a further I.V. antibiotic production facility. The company has continuously invested in the site during the last years. The plant delivers to more than 70 countries worldwide, making Fresenius Kabi the largest exporter of drugs made in Portugal.
