Fresenius Kabi UK expands operations in Runcorn, England

Fresenius Kabi UK is expanding its existing operations in Runcorn, Cheshire, to further increase the supply of medicines for the therapy and care of critically and chronically ill patients. The investment of around € 9.5 million will also bring new high-skilled jobs to the area in the coming years.

A new Distribution and Operations Center will be built next to the existing headquarters in Runcorn to provide warehouse capacity required for further growth in the UK hospital and homecare businesses. Furthermore, a new aseptic compound center will be added to the site and is expected to be completed in 2020. This will allow for an increased manufacturing capacity of compounded home parenteral nutrition products.
