Time to talk about pumps: Fresenius Kabi supports the World Home Artificial Nutrition Day

Fresenius Kabi is committed to improving the quality of life of patients around the globe and taking care of their specific needs. In line with the company’s philosophy of caring for life, Fresenius Kabi supports Home Artificial Nutrition (HAN) as an important extra-hospital therapy that enables patients to receive treatment in the comfort of their own home.

In that regard, the World Home Artificial Nutrition Day is taking place for the fifth time, on October 15, 2021 and the focus this year is ambulatory pumps.

Fresenius Kabi supports this awareness day by sharing some information about the benefits of home enteral and home parenteral pumps and also stories of patients living on HAN and of homecare nurses who support patients on Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) and Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN).

The day was established by PACIFHAN, the International Alliance of Patient Organizations for Chronic Intestinal Failure and Home Artificial Nutrition.
