Fresenius Kabi in Haina, Dominican Republic, joins Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

The Fresenius Kabi manufacturing campus in Haina, Dominican Republic – this year illuminated with pink light for the whole awareness month of October.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual occasion to increase awareness of the disease, draw attention to the importance of early detection, and related palliative care. Fresenius Kabi in Haina, Dominican Republic, proudly joins the international campaign to do its part for breast cancer awareness in the Caribbean nation.
Employees in Haina proudly support the caritative campaign for the sake of women throughout the country and beyond. The event stands representatively for all the health education campaigns initiated and supported by Fresenius Kabi employees around the globe.
In order to make a visible statement and attract attention of anyone passing by, the manufacturing campus in the city close to the country’s capital Santo Domingo is illuminated with pink light at night until the end of October. On top of that and following the company’s philosophy of caring for life, Fresenius Kabi’s employees in Haina pridefully will wear an all-pink attire for every Friday of the month and share the message of this inspiring initiative: Join forces to increase access to information, care, and early detection measures.
