Fresenius Kabi’s blood bag plant in Guangzhou, China, celebrates 10th anniversary

The Fresenius Kabi site in Guangzhou celebrated its 10th anniversary in November. This plant is one of Fresenius Kabi’s largest blood bag plants, supplying disposable blood bags to Chinese hospitals and numerous institutions worldwide.

In his speech, Dr. Christian Hauer, Board Member of Fresenius Kabi and President of the Medical Devices Division, thanked the Guangzhou colleagues for their ten years of dedication and commitment. He also extended his thanks to the Chinese government and the many international customers who trust in Fresenius Kabi’s products.

Jörg Pluskwik, General Manager of the Guangzhou plant, presented the major milestones of the past ten years, including the recently completed expansion of the plant and warehouse for the production and storage of disposable blood bags. “Thanks to a stringent production process at the Guangzhou site, including a sound quality management system, this highly-educated and well-trained team is able to provide the best solution to help patients around the globe regain their health,” he concluded.
