Fresenius Kabi Breaks Ground on $250 million Expansion of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site in Illinois

On August 17, 2016 Fresenius Kabi announced a $250 million investment in U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturing to create a state-of-the art operations campus in Illinois.
On September 21, 2017 Fresenius Kabi broke ground to significantly expand its presence in Melrose Park, Illinois. When complete the new manufacturing campus will include the newest technologies and processes for the aseptic manufacturing of generic injectable medicines.
