Fresenius Kabi makes donation to a school in Thailand

March 23, 2018

Guided by our mission “caring for life”, Fresenius Kabi supports various organizations and initiatives to create value for both patients and communities. On January 13, Thailand celebrated “Children’s Day”, a national holiday that takes place every second Saturday of January. Our colleagues used the occasion to support a school in the northeast of Bangkok.

Already back in 2011, Fresenius Kabi Thailand supported the Kanoong Pra Tai School, which is located in the Khaoyai National Park area, with a donation. This enabled the school to install a water pipe in the canteen and create a room for the students to brush their teeth in after lunch. Furthermore, colleagues from Fresenius Kabi Thailand assisted the school by repainting playground equipment, rearranging the library room and by donations of books and cartoons. As the next project, the school wants to build a multi-purpose room to play, to rest and to hold meetings in.

Employees of Fresenius Kabi Thailand handed over the donation check and brought sports equipment, toys, and ice cream for the students of the Kanoong Pra Tai School.

For this purpose, employees of Fresenius Kabi Thailand have once again raised money to further support the rural school. In January, they revisited the area, handed over the donation check of about THB 150,000 (€ 4,000) and also spent the national holiday by playing, singing and dancing with the kids.

“The activities of our employees in Thailand are very impressive and a true inspiration to us all. Caring for children’s education is a truly honorable task and is exemplary for our corporate philosophy ’caring for life’,” says Laddawan Kulprasert, Head of Human Resources and Administration Fresenius Kabi Thailand.
