Award as “Great Place to Work” in the Dominican Republic

Now it is official: The Fresenius Kabi production in Haina, Dominican Republic was recently awarded the certification as “Great Place to Work”.

Around 2,700 employees in Haina manufacture medical devices for transfusion technology, exporting to over 86 countries worldwide.

Great Place to Work® is a global research and consulting institute, specialized on evaluating of high-performance workplace cultures. Through special assessment tools the institute conducts yearly reviews in companies worldwide with focus on human resources management and organizational trust.

The company received the award at an official ceremony on March 31, 2017 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. “We are honored and feel proud to be recognized as one of the best employers in the Caribbean,” says Bernardo Alvarez, General Plant Manager after accepting the award. “Everyone in the plant is working with great dedication and the team spirit is clearly tangible.”

The certification as “Great Place to Work®” is based on a comprehensive survey considering the following: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and fellowship. The results are summarized in a standardized “Trust Index”.
